How to Apply for OAU Distance Learning Admission

All applicant should take note of the following before he or she can apply for the OAU Distance Learning Admission and be successful. But before then let check out the Eligibility, Requirements and Qualifications below; 

Eligibility for OAU Distance Learning Admission

1. All fresh applicants for admission into the programme must possess five O level  subject. OAI admission must have credits in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics,  Economics, Government, Financial Accounting, Geography, Literature in English and Yoruba at not more than two sittings.
(It all depend on your course of study)

2. Secondly, candidates for the ‘O’Level admission must have satisfied the National cut off mark of 180 for JAMB /UTME.

OAU Distance Leaning Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry to Part II

1. Direct Entry applicants should possess five credit passes in the SSCE examination at least two of which shall be at the Advanced Level provided that the subjects are not counted at both levels of the examination (Credit passes at Ordinary level must include English Language, Economics and Mathematics).

2.  A Level passes shall include Economics or Accounting or ND at Upper Credit level in Accounting, or Banking and Finance or ATS-ICAN final stage certificate or final stage of Association of Nigerian Accountants (ANAN) or Final stage of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) or final stage of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.(CITN)

Direct Entry to Part III 

• Candidates must have HND in Accounting or Business Administration or final stage of ICAN certificate (ACA) and ACCA or Certified Financial Analysis, ACIB, ANAN (plus HND or B.Sc. in any discipline) and HND in Banking.

How to apply for OAU Distance Learning Admission

1. Firstly, candidate should visit the official website

2. After you must have filled the information a verification email will be sent to your mail.

3. Thereafter,  confirm your email address and password

4. Proceed to fill in and upload your information and details

5. The next thing is to click ‘Pay’ to continue with online payments. The following are the ways to make payment;

 *Interswitch payment gateway
*ATM debit card

NB: Your details to complete your transaction will be indicated once payment has been made confirmed successfully.


6. After successful payment of your application, a notification email would be sent to you with a link.

7. Link will take you to an automatic O/Level screening portal.

8. All successful applicants will then immediately receive their admission status via email as well as log in details.
